Information: Sail into the characteristic harbor of Volendam — a vibrant, historic spot on the Markermeer where tradition and hospitality come together. As a visitor, you are warmly welcomed to dock right in the heart of this famous fishing village.

Our harbor offers facilities such as showers, electricity, water taps, and Wi-Fi, with the authentic Volendam dike and cozy terraces just a stone’s throw away. Whether you're stopping for a short visit or planning to stay longer to enjoy the village and surrounding area, Volendam Harbor is an ideal base.

📞 Short stay or day visit: If you are stopping briefly or not staying overnight, please contact the harbor master in advance. They will be happy to assign you a suitable spot for your temporary stay.

🛥️ Moorings and overnight stays: Want to stay overnight in our harbor? Upon arrival, sail to starboard (right) and choose a suitable spot in the area marked green on the map, unless otherwise indicated at that location.

Mooring alongside is permitted, as long as you are docking next to a ship of similar size and type. The area marked in yellow on the map is usually available for overnight stays, but only with permission from the harbor master.

🛥️ On the port side of the harbor, you will find our so-called boxes (indicated in blue on the map). You may dock here when the signal is green, and the ship fits within the size of the box.
